The AirTAC GFR400C15MNT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15MNT is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration is threaded NPT1/2 (1/2 in), carries the standard 40 um filter element, and uses a manual drain, so condensate is emptied by opening the drain at the bottom of the bowl. The regulator set range for this manual-drain version is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and no gauge is fitted (code N). The bowl on this 400 size is polycarbonate (PC); only the 600 size uses an aluminium alloy bowl. A mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of PT (standard), G (BSPP) or NPT threads, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element option (code W), gauge and scale options, and a low-pressure regulator type. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C1 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, regulated air to the tool-change and clamping circuits on a machining centre, with the manual drain bled during shift-start walkrounds.
Conditioning the air feeding cylinder-driven carton forming and sealing stations on a packaging conveyor, protecting valves from water and debris in the line.
A 1/2 in branch take-off from a factory ring main serving a work cell, where one unit filters the supply and sets the cell working pressure.
Size 400 with a 1/2 in port sits in the upper flow range of the GFR series; step up to 600 or down to 300 depending on the pipe size and air demand of the line. Choose the drain to match access: this manual-drain unit suits points where someone walks the line and bleeds the bowl, while automatic or differential-pressure drains suit less accessible drops. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify the 5 um W option where finer particle removal is needed. Gauge code N means no gauge is fitted; gauge and scale options exist in the series if you want a pressure readout at the unit. Threads are ordered as PT (standard), G (BSPP) or NPT - this unit is NPT. Flow for the GFR series is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
Manual drain (code M) means condensate is emptied by opening the drain on the bowl, which suits attended points on a walked line. If the unit sits where nobody passes, order the automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain version of the same GFR400 size instead.
