The AirTAC GFR400C15NTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15NTK is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 1/2 in NPT port, a 40 um standard filtration element, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element is high enough. Pressure is adjustable over 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the unit carries a reverse/check valve fitted as supplied. No gauge is fitted on this variant, so add a gauge separately if a local pressure readout is needed. The polycarbonate bowl suits the 400 frame, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and is orderable with PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element option (code W), gauge and scale choices, a low-pressure regulator type, and a reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and flow figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed on the 1/2 in supply feeding a pneumatic press or forming machine, it strips water and swarf from the plant air and holds a steady regulated pressure to the press cylinder, with the check valve holding the setting against supply dips.
Mounted ahead of the valve manifold on a packaging or cartoning conveyor, it delivers clean, moisture-reduced air at a fixed setting to the grippers, pushers and seal cylinders along the line.
Fitted at the air drop serving a CNC machine tool or machining centre, it conditions the shop air feeding tool-change clamps and coolant-air blasts while the check valve protects the circuit from backflow.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200/300/400/600) and their port sizes (1/8 in to 1 in) to match the pipe diameter and air demand of the line; the 400 frame with a 1/2 in NPT port sits in the upper mid-range of the family. Choose the drain to suit access: differential-pressure (this unit, self-acting), automatic for continuous unattended bleeding, or manual where a technician drains on a schedule. The 40 um element on this model is the standard grade; specify the W code if the application needs 5 um. This variant ships without a gauge - gauge type and scale (MPa, psi or bar) can be ordered on other variants. Thread here is NPT; PT and G (BSPP) are catalogue options, and PT is the family standard. A bracket is included for panel or surface mounting.
Because flow is published only as curves and not as a single rated number, we cannot quote a rated flow here. Send us your application's air demand and line pressure and we will confirm sizing and the datasheet figures before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for this size 400, 1/2 in NPT unit on request before you order.
The N in the code means no gauge is fitted on this variant. The GFR family offers gauge options with MPa, psi or bar scales, so you can order a gauged variant instead, or add a gauge separately. Note that gauge type and scale are specification choices made at ordering, not something we add after the fact.
