The AirTAC GFR400C15NWTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15NWTK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 400 configuration comes with a 1/2 in NPT port, the finer 5 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain on the polycarbonate bowl, a built-in reverse (check) valve, and an included mounting bracket. No gauge is fitted. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the unit handles a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) at -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR range spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge options, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Supply filtered, regulated air to the clamping cylinders and swing clamps on a machining centre. The 5 um element helps keep water and fine particulate out of the directional valves that position the clamps.
Feed the pick-and-place and sealing cylinders on a packaging line with clean, regulated air. With no lubricator in this unit, no oil mist is added downstream - useful where added oil is unwanted near product or sensors.
Regulate the air feeding diverter gates and stopper cylinders along a sorting conveyor, so gate timing stays consistent as line pressure drifts, while the check valve holds the downstream side.
Size and port step up together: GFR sizes 200 to 600 cover 1/8 in to 1 in ports, so choose the size whose flow curve meets your demand - we will check the curve against your application before you order. On this unit the key choices are already set: 5 um filtration for finer air quality, the differential-pressure drain (the standard option, with automatic and manual variants available in the same size), NPT thread (PT is the standard; G and NPT are order options), a fitted check valve, and no gauge - a gauge can be specified if you want a local reading of the setpoint.
Because AirTAC publishes flow only as curves and not as a single rating, we do not quote a flow number here. Send us your operating pressure and air demand and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you commit.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your operating pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet for your application before you order.
Differential-pressure drain is the standard option on this GFR400 configuration. The same size is also available with an automatic drain (code A) or a manual drain (code M). If your installation runs unattended and you want condensate handled without a scheduled check, ask us about the automatic-drain variant in size 400.
