The 4V210-08BT-W is the NPT-threaded, 24 V DC version of AirTAC's 4V200 single-solenoid valve. It is a 5/2-way spool valve that sends compressed air to one side of a double-acting cylinder while venting the other; the moment you de-energise the coil, an internal spring snaps the spool back to its rest position, so the PLC output must stay high for as long as the stroke must hold. Ports are cut 1/4 NPT (tapered), letting it screw straight into North-American manifolds and fittings with no adapters.

Size the valve so effective area / Cv is not the bottleneck for your cylinder bore and speed. Undersized valves slow the actuator. Note 5/3 (center) versions have a smaller effective area than the 5/2 of the same body size.
