The AirTAC Airtac B52-GR Copper-Free Air Source Treatment Unit B52-GR20008JNK is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) with PT1/4" ports, ordered without a gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
GR20008JNK is a genuine AirTAC G-series air pressure regulator for compressed air, built in the compact 200 size with a 1/4 in PT thread as standard. It is the standard-pressure type: the setting range is 0.05-0.9 MPa and the maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). The N code means no gauge is fitted and the J code means no mounting bracket is included. The K code adds a reverse (check) valve, so downstream pressure is held against backflow if the upstream supply is shut off or drops. Operating temperature is -20 to 70 C (non-freezing).
The GR family regulates pressure only - it contains no filter and no bowl, so pair it with a GF filter or GFR filter regulator upstream where water and particles must be removed. AirTAC builds the same regulator in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, in low-pressure (L) versions, and with G (BSPP) and NPT thread options. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, we confirm datasheet and flow figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR200 | G-series pressure regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Standard type — 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Set and hold the supply pressure to pneumatic clamps on a machining-centre fixture; the check valve keeps the clamps loaded if shop air drops.
Regulate air to the cylinder station that closes and seals cases on a cartoning line, keeping actuator force consistent shift after shift.
Feed impact drivers and air ratchets on an automotive assembly bench at a stable preset pressure, in a panel where no gauge is wanted.
The 200 size with its 1/4 in PT port suits 1/4 in drop lines; step up to the 300, 400 or 600 body when the port or the demand grows. The check valve (K) is the key choice here - specify a code without K when backflow holding is not wanted. Bracket and gauge positions are decodable options: J omits the bracket and N omits the gauge, as on this unit, while blank positions include them, and the GR can also be panel-mounted. Thread is standard PT; order the T variant for NPT or G for BSPP. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your line size and demand and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The reflux valve lets air flow back through the regulator, which is useful when downstream volume must vent quickly. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes GR performance as flow curves rather than a single rated figure, so no single number applies across all inlet pressures and settings. Tell us your supply pressure, set pressure and demand, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
K specifies a reverse (check) valve fitted in the regulator. It blocks backflow, so a downstream circuit keeps its set pressure if the upstream supply is interrupted. The same regulator ordered without the K code has no check function.
