The AirTAC AirTAC GF300-10 Filter (GF30010A) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with PT3/8" ports and a automatic drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The AirTAC GF30010A is a G-series compressed-air filter in the size 300 body with PT3/8 ports. It filters only - it removes water and particulate from the compressed air, with no regulation and no lubrication function. This variant carries the automatic drain, which purges collected condensate from the PC (polycarbonate) bowl without operator intervention, together with the standard 40 um filtration element. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GF family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, an optional 5 um element (W), PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, and a bracketless (J) build option. Because AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, we confirm the datasheet and sizing data on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Fitted on the air feed to a CNC machining cell's tool-clamp and chip-ejection cylinders, the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the clamping circuit even on lines the maintenance crew rarely visits.
Used on service vehicles and mobile workshop rigs to filter the supply feeding air impact guns and tyre equipment, where an unattended bowl would otherwise fill and pass water to the tools.
Installed upstream of pneumatic actuators on laboratory sample-handling equipment, it removes water and particles from the supply while the automatic drain handles condensate without scheduled manual purging.
The A in GF30010A means automatic drain: pick it over the differential-pressure default when the filter sits in a position nobody walks past, and over manual (M) when you cannot rely on an operator draining the bowl. Size 300 with PT3/8 is the middle step - match it to your line's port and check the flow curve before settling on 200, 400 or 600. The standard element is 40 um; add W for 5 um if the downstream equipment needs finer filtration. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as catalogue options; the mounting bracket is included on this variant. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing for your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
There is no single rated flow figure for this unit - AirTAC publishes flow for the GF series as curves only. Send us your required flow and line conditions and we will confirm the datasheet curve for the size 300 body so you can size it correctly before ordering.
Both drain without an operator, but they trigger differently: the differential-pressure drain opens when the pressure drop across the element rises, while the automatic drain purges collected condensate on its own cycle. Both keep the same 1.0 MPa maximum pressure; the choice comes down to how the filter is loaded and how the line is operated.
