The AirTAC AirTAC GF300-10 Filter (GF30010AJW) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 5 µm element, with PT3/8" ports and a automatic drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The AirTAC GF30010AJW is a G-series compressed-air filter, size 300 body, PT3/8 ports, supplied without a mounting bracket (J) and fitted with the fine 5 um filtration element (W). It filters only - water and particulate removal, with no regulation and no lubrication. The automatic drain purges condensate from the PC (polycarbonate) bowl on its own, and the 5 um element captures particles the standard 40 um element would pass. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GF family offers sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600; differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains; 40 um standard or 5 um (W) elements; PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads; and bracket-included or bracketless (J) builds. AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet figures for you on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF300 | G-series air filter, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| J | Supplied without bracket. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed ahead of pilot-operated and proportioning valves on a fine-control air circuit, the 5 um element keeps small orifices and pilot passages clear where the standard 40 um grade would let fines through.
Used on the supply to air bearings and light-duty precision actuators in assembly equipment, where fine particulate in the air would degrade smooth movement over time.
Mounted in the pneumatic section of instrumentation and control panels, it delivers cleaner-than-standard air to transducers, gauges and small pilot devices, with the automatic drain handling condensate unattended.
Pick the W (5 um) element when the equipment downstream of this filter is sensitive to fine particles - the standard element is 40 um and will not do that job. The J build suits direct manifold or panel mounting without the standard bracket. The A automatic drain is the low-attention choice; compare with differential-pressure and manual M. Size 300 with PT3/8 is the middle step; match it to your port and check the flow curve against 200 and 400/600 before deciding. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options. Remember the trade-off: a finer element loads faster, so drain choice and service access matter. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating - ask us to confirm sizing for your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GF series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we will not quote one number. A finer element does sit in the flow path like any filter, and its loading affects the curve - send us your required flow and we will confirm the size 300 datasheet curve before you order.
The standard GF element filters to 40 um, which protects cylinders and general valves. The W option filters to 5 um for equipment with fine clearances - pilot valves, instruments, precision actuators. It is the same filter body and drain; only the element grade changes, and it will load faster, so plan for drainage and element service accordingly.
