The AirTAC AirTAC GF300-10 Filter (GF30010AW) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 5 µm element, with PT3/8" ports and a automatic drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The AirTAC GF30010AW is a G-series compressed-air filter: it removes water and particulate from the air line and does nothing else - no regulation, no lubrication. This configuration is size 300 with a 3/8 in PT port, the fine 5 um filter element (the W suffix), and an automatic drain that discharges condensate from the PC bowl by itself, keeping protection consistent on lines without a resident operator. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GF family runs from sizes 200 to 600, with automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 40 um standard element as the alternative to this 5 um grade, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread options to order alongside the standard PT port. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating - we confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.
| Model | AirTAC GF300-10 Filter (GF30010AW) |

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF300 | G-series air filter, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed upstream of pneumatic positioners and I/P devices on a process skid, the GF30010AW uses its 5 um element to keep fine particles out of sensitive pilot and control valves, with the automatic drain clearing condensate around the clock.
Fitted on the supply line to laboratory automation and sample-handling pneumatics, it filters both water and 5 um-scale particulate before precision actuators, protecting close-tolerance movements from contamination.
Placed ahead of the valve manifold on a packaging or cartoning machine, it conditions the air feeding diverters and sealing cylinders; the automatic drain means bowl maintenance fits the machine's own service schedule.
The W suffix selects the 5 um element instead of the 40 um standard - choose it when valves, cylinders or instruments downstream need finer particle removal, and accept that finer elements load faster and need bowl attention. Size 300 with a 3/8 in PT port is the mid step of the GF range; move to 400/600 for larger ports or down to 200 for compact lines. The automatic drain suits unattended installs; manual and differential-pressure drains are the other options.
Thread is standard PT with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options to order. Bracket is included on this version. Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes filter capacity as flow curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not state one. Send us your line pressure and demand and we will confirm the applicable curve data from the GF300 datasheet on request.
W selects the 5 um filter element in place of the 40 um standard. Everything else in the code is unchanged: GF30010AW is still a size 300 filter with a 3/8 in PT port and automatic drain - it simply filters to a finer grade.
