The AirTAC AirTAC GF300-15 Filter (GF30015A) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with PT1/2" ports and a automatic drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
GF30015A is an AirTAC G-series GF air filter: it removes water and particulate from a compressed-air line only, with no pressure regulation and no lubrication. This size 300 body has a PT1/2 in port, the standard 40 um element and the A-coded automatic drain, so condensate is discharged from the polycarbonate bowl without anyone having to bleed it by hand. A mounting bracket is included, and the unit is rated for 1.0 MPa (145 psi) maximum working pressure at -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GF filter family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) filtration, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic (A) or manual (M) drain, and PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF300 | G-series air filter, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Install at the drip point on a compressor room header, where the automatic drain removes gathered condensate continuously and nobody has to walk the room bleeding bowls.
Fit on the air feed to a robotic weld cell, filtering the supply to clamps and grippers while the automatic drain keeps moisture out during unmanned shifts.
Use on the instrument-air branch feeding actuated valves at a water treatment plant, where unattended automatic drainage suits a site with limited maintenance visits.
Pick the GF size from 200 (1/8-1/4 in), 300 (3/8-1/2 in), 400 (1/2-3/4 in) and 600 (3/4-1 in), then choose the drain to suit the installation: the default differential-pressure type, this A-coded automatic drain for unattended points, or the M-coded manual drain. This unit carries the standard 40 um element; the W-coded 5 um grade fits the same body. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT orderable as catalogue options, and the included bracket can be omitted with the J suffix. Flow appears only as curves in the datasheet, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes G-series filter flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one rating to quote. Share your line pressure and required consumption and we will confirm the datasheet curve and sizing on request before you order.
The A suffix specifies an automatic drain that discharges condensate from the bowl without operator attention, which suits unattended or hard-to-reach installations. The default differential-pressure drain and the M-coded manual drain are the other catalogue choices on the same GF body.
