The AirTAC AirTAC GF300-15 Filter (GF30015AJ) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with PT1/2" ports and a automatic drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
GF30015AJ is an AirTAC G-series GF air filter: filtration only, removing water and particulate from the compressed-air line, with no pressure regulation and no lubrication. This size 300 body has a PT1/2 in port, the standard 40 um element and the A-coded automatic drain that empties the polycarbonate bowl without manual bleeding. The J suffix means no mounting bracket is supplied, so the unit mounts directly by its port, and it is rated for 1.0 MPa (145 psi) maximum working pressure at -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GF filter family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) filtration, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic (A) or manual (M) drain, and PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF300 | G-series air filter, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| J | Supplied without bracket. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mount by its ports inside a control cabinet ahead of solenoid valves, filtering branch air with automatic drainage while the bracketless body saves panel space.
Fit inline on the instrument-air takeoff of a process skid, where the automatic drain handles condensate and pipework mounting replaces the need for a bracket.
Use on the supply to an automated assembly cell, feeding air cylinders and pick-and-place actuators with filtered air that drains itself between shifts.
Choose the GF size from 200 (1/8-1/4 in), 300 (3/8-1/2 in), 400 (1/2-3/4 in) and 600 (3/4-1 in) against your line and the published flow curve. This configuration pairs the A-coded automatic drain with the J suffix, so it is supplied without a mounting bracket - order the bracketed version if you need panel or wall fixing. The standard 40 um element can be swapped for the W-coded 5 um grade; drain alternatives are the default differential-pressure type and the M-coded manual drain. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT orderable as catalogue options. Flow appears only as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
There is no single rated figure to quote: AirTAC publishes G-series filter flow as performance curves. Send us your working pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet curve and correct sizing on request before you order.
The J suffix deletes the mounting bracket that normally comes with the GF body, so the filter is supplied for direct port mounting. Everything else in the code stays the same: size 300, PT1/2 in port, 40 um element and A-coded automatic drain.
