The AirTAC AirTAC GF300-15 Filter (GF30015J) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with PT1/2" ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The GF30015J is a genuine AirTAC G-series air filter for compressed air only - filtration alone, with no regulator and no lubricator. It is size 300 with a 1/2 in PT port, the standard 40 um element, the default differential-pressure drain, and no mounting bracket (J), for direct mounting on the port or manifold.
As a genuine AirTAC part it belongs to a range spanning sizes 200 to 600, with automatic and manual drain variants, an optional 5 um element, and G (BSPP) or T (NPT) threads as catalogue choices. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing; the bowl on size 300 is polycarbonate. AirTAC publishes flow as curves, not a single rating - we confirm datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF300 | G-series air filter, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| J | Supplied without bracket. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Used as the first-stage filter on pneumatic control-panel supply assemblies, removing bulk water and coarse particles before downstream fine filtration or regulation.
Installed on the instrument-air branch feeding quarter-turn pneumatic valve actuators in a process skid, where clean, dry air keeps positioner and solenoid ports clear.
Fitted on plant air drops serving air cylinders and impact tools, the 40 um element screens out pipe scale and rust from the distribution main.
Keep the standard 40 um element here for general-purpose protection of cylinders, valves and tools; select the W variant (5 um) if your equipment needs finer filtration. The differential-pressure drain is the standard, self-relieving choice; order the A or M variants if you want automatic or manual draining. Size 300 at 1/2 in PT suits mid-size lines - size up or down for your flow and porting. G and NPT threads and a bracketed version are also available.
Since flow appears only as catalogue curves, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC does not publish a single rated flow number for this filter; performance is given as flow curves. Share your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet and check the sizing for your application on request.
It is the standard drain: condensate is discharged when the pressure difference across the drain reaches its operating threshold, so no operator action or external signal is needed. If you prefer scheduled draining or fully automatic discharge, the manual (M) and automatic (A) variants are available in the same size.
