The AirTAC AirTAC GF300-15 Filter (GF30015M) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with PT1/2" ports and a manual drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The AirTAC GF30015M is a G-series compressed-air filter: it removes water and particulate from the air line and does nothing else - no pressure regulation and no lubrication. This configuration is size 300 with a 1/2 in PT (the standard thread) port, fitted with a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate and the standard 40 um filter element. You drain accumulated condensate by hand via the drain fitting, and the maximum inlet pressure for this manual-drain version is 0.9 MPa.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GF family, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, PT/G/NPT threads, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, and an optional 5 um (W) element. Flow is published by AirTAC as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and flow figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF300 | G-series air filter, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed ahead of the machine's pneumatic valves and clamping circuits, it strips water and pipe-scale from the shop-air feed so spindles, tool changers and fixtures get clean air.
Mounted at the drop feeding carton-forming and case-packing cylinders, it keeps condensate out of the actuators that open flaps and drive pushers on the line.
Placed on the supply line to pneumatic lab equipment such as sample handlers and purge systems, it protects the instruments from water and particulate carried in the building air.
Size 300 with a 1/2 in port sits in the middle of the GF range (200/300/400/600); step up or down if your line porting or expected air demand points to a different size. The manual drain here means someone bleeds the bowl periodically - if nobody will do that, choose an automatic or differential-pressure drain variant instead. The standard 40 um element suits general machine-air protection; specify the W variant for 5 um filtration where downstream equipment needs finer air. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as order options, and a mounting bracket is included on this version.
AirTAC publishes filter flow as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your actual air consumption before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC does not publish a single rated-flow number for the GF series; flow is given as pressure-drop curves instead. Tell us your working pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
A manual drain means an operator periodically opens the drain to remove collected condensate - simple and reliable where the unit is accessible. The GF series is also offered with automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drains; if the filter is mounted in a hard-to-reach spot, we can quote the automatic-drain version.
