The SC100X630 is a double-acting single-rod cylinder that generates 3927 N of push force at 0.5 MPa and up to 7068 N at the maximum operating pressure of 0.9 MPa. With a 100 mm bore and a 630 mm stroke, it is built for applications that require substantial linear force over a mid-to-long travel distance.

This tie-rod cylinder features a 25 mm diameter piston rod with M20x1.5 threads and PT1/2 pneumatic ports. Is the Airtac SC100 Standard Cylinder SC100X630 the Right Cylinder?

Select the SC100X630 when your application needs approximately 4000 N of force at standard plant air pressure. If the load requires less force, stepping down to an 80 mm bore (2513 N at 0.5 MPa) can reduce air consumption and physical size. For higher force demands, a 125 mm bore (6136 N at 0.5 MPa) is the next logical step.

At a 630 mm stroke, the piston rod is fully supported at both ends only when fully retracted. For applications with any side load, an external guide or a guided cylinder configuration is strongly recommended to prevent rod bending and premature bearing wear. For a direct replacement, match the 100 mm bore, 630 mm stroke, PT1/2 port thread, and basic mounting configuration exactly.
